Jourdan Jefferson was named South Coast Conference Player of the Year as voted on by the Coaches of the South Coast Conference. Head Coach Sophie Salvador was named South Coast Conference Coach of the Year for leading the Mounties to a 15-2 overall record, an undefeated 9-0 conference record and the 2011 South Coast Conference Championship.

Women's Tennis Qualifies For SoCal Regional Tennis Team Championships

(Walnut, CA) The Mt. SAC Women's Tennis Team has qualified for the 2011 SoCal Regional Women's Tennis Team Championships.  The team received the #4 seed (8 teams competing) and will host #6 seed Riverside City College here at Mt. SAC on April 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm. The Mounties are the 2011 South Coast Conference Champions and boast a regular season team record of 15 wins and 1 loss, while the visiting Tigers have a record of 12 wins and 4 losses.  This is the first time in school history that the Mounties have been seeded high enough to host a Team Championship match and the first time the Mounties have faced Riverside City College this season.

We invite you to come out and support the Mounties on their quest for the 2011 Women's Tennis State Championship!

Stacey Peng was named South Coast Conference Player of the Year as voted on by the Coaches of the South Coast Conference. Head Coach Sophie Salvador was named South Coast Conference Coach of the Year for leading the Mounties to a 10-3 overall record, 8-1 conference record and the 2010 South Coast Conference Championship.
