Head Softball Coach Kelly Ford Reaches 300th-Win and is named South Coast Conference Softball Coach Of The Year
Kelly Ford, the Women's Softball Head Coach reached here 300th win against Cuesta College on Sunday, May 4 ,2008 at home. Along with this honor, she was also named the 2008 South Coast Conference Softball Coach of the Year. The Mounties completed a two-game sweep over visiting Cuesta Sunday in the first round of the California Community College Athletic Association Southern California Regionals. Ford has guided the Mounties to the past six South Coast Conference titles and three State Championships, including the last season.

Mt. SAC captured its sixth consecutive South Coast Conference title and have three Mounties named to the All-State Team (Kadie Baldwin, Mandy Pongs and Francesca Gonzales).
