Former Mountie Mallory Todd, Named California Pacific Conference Defensive Player Of The Year
February, 13, 2011(Menlo, CA) Former Mt. SAC defensive standout, Mallory Todd (Walnut H.S., 2007), was named 2011 California Pacific Conference (Cal PAC) Defensive Player of the Year. Todd had an outstanding senior season for the Menlo Oaks and was the defensive leader on a defensive line nicknamed the "Stingy D." Todd played for the Mounties during the 2007 and 2008 seasons for Head Coach Melinda Bowen.
Todd was also named to the unaffiliated All-Conference Team (combination of the Cal PAC and Frontier League) as well being named the Cal PAC Player of the Week for the week of October 17th, 2011.
Todd is the daughter of legendary Mt. SAC Track and Field/Cross Country Coach, Doug Todd and Adjunct Kinesiology Professor, Janet Todd.
