Coach Green begins his third season leading the Mountie Golf Program. Under his direction the Golf Program has challenged for the Foothill Conference Champioship each season. The Women's Golf Team captured the 2007 Foothill Conference Championship (18-0 record) and he has been named twice by his peers, Conference Coach of the Year (2007 and 2009). He currently serves as the California Community College Men's Golf Coaches Association President.
Prior to arriving at Mt. SAC Green was the Head Golf Coach at Claremont High School for 2 seasons. Before arriving at Claremont, he worked for 12 years in the Motion Picture and Television Industry.
Coach Green received his bachelors degree in Communications from California State University at Fullerton and his masters degree in Education from the University of La Verne.
Green grew up in Claremont (CA) and attended Damien High School where he was a 3 year letterman and 2 time all-league selection in Golf. He continued playing golf at Citrus College, where he was an all-conference selection and for the Titans of Cal State Fullerton.
Coach Green resides in Claremont with his lovely wife Andrea and their four children, Brandon, Amanda, Devin and Sean. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and working with the Youth Golf Program at the Claremont Golf Course along with Mt. SAC Assistant Coach and PGA Professional, Bruce Thompson.
