Sports Publicist, Kelly Martinez, has been associated with Mt. SAC Athletic Program since September 1999. He currently handles the Mounties' Sports Information Website which include game results/summaries, team schedules and logs.

Martinez' previous responsibilities within the Mt. SAC Athletic Department include Football Statistician (1999-2001) and Mt. SAC Relays Media Coordinator (2000-01).

Prior to joining the Mt. SAC staff, he served as the Sports Information Director at Compton College from 1992-99. He was also a member of the Los Angeles Clippers' statistics crew from 1995-99.

An excellent news writer, Martinez has covered various sports for the Los Angeles Times, the Long Beach Press Telegram, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, Meridian Magazine and general news for the Deseret Morning News (Utah).

He is a graduate of Bell High School and Utah Valley University with a Bachelors Degree in Integrated Studies with emphases in History and Communications.

Martinez currently resides in Utah, with his wife Margaret and their four children.
