Anisurei Escalera joined the Mt. SAC Athletic Department in March of 2007 as the Athletic Eligibility Specialist. She oversees the eligbility of nearly 450 student/athletes who compete at Mt. SAC.

Prior to arriving at Mt. SAC, she served as a Child Development, Computer Science and Home Economics Teacher at Bishop Amat High School in La Puente, California.

In college at the University of Nebraska she was full-scholarship Pep Squad Member for 4 years

She is a graduate of Banning High School (Wilmington, CA) and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a Bachelors Degree in Family Consumer Science.

Ani resides in Pomona with her husband Pat. In her spare time she enjoys Hip Hop Dancing, telling jokes, Reality T.V. watching and watching Nebraska Cornhusker Sports.
